Cwm Dyli

The club hut was just a shell when we first got it in 1932. The club now has electricity, a fully equipped kitchen, hot showers and alpine bunks for 22 people. It has electricity for cooking and lighting, a barbeque for those warm summer evenings and a coal stove for heating. Coal should be available. There is no rubbish collection and the nearest parking is 500m away.

Perhaps not so romantic as when people washed in the stream and cooked on a trangia, but the hut is still peaceful with stunning views and much more comfortable for a wet winter weekend.

There is a meet every month at the hut so the hut is well used and well looked after by members and Cwm Dyli meets can turn into great social events.

The hut is available for bookings by other clubs and organisations and can be used by members of other clubs with reciprocal rights.

The hut is in Nant Gwynant, nestling on the slopes of Snowdon.
